How can I open a trading account?

It is simple and quick. Click on OPEN REAL ACCOUNT, fill in the form and upon completion you will receive an email with all login details for both the Members Area and the trading platform.

How long does it take to open a trading account?

It takes under 3 minutes to open an account, as long as all the information provided is correct.

Do I need to send any documents to open an account?

Yes, you do. All account holders need to send a proof of identity and a proof of residence.

How can I start trading? Do I need to download any software to trade?

If you have already opened a trading account, received your login details by email, submitted your identification documents for account validation, and made a deposit; the next step is to download the MT5 trading platform.

What types of accounts do you have?

Fidelis Capital Markets offers 10 types of accounts. These are Mini, Standard, VIP, ECN Classic, ECN Gold, etc. subject to the regulated bodies, For further info please visit Account Types Page

Do you offer Islamic accounts?

Yes, we do offer Islamic accounts but they are available ONLY to clients of Islamic faith. The open positions on an Islamic accounts shpuld not be held for more than 3 days to avoid storage fee.

Do you offer mini accounts?

Can I open more than one account?

Yes, you can open more than one account.

What account currencies do you offer?

We offer USD base currency accounts at the moment.

Which are the most commonly traded currencies?

Most popular currencies are the USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, CAD,AUD.

Do you charge a monthly fee for trading?

No, we do not charge any monthly fees for trading.

How do I change my account details? Such as account type, leverage etc?

For any account related changes, please send an e-mail from your registered e-mail id to [email protected] with your MT5 account number and the required change.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password yourself from the Members Area or email [email protected]

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

You can retrieve your password from the Members Area. Alternatively you may send an email to [email protected]

Do you offer managed accounts?

No, we do not offer managed accounts.

How can I register for a Demo account?

How long can I have the Demo account for?

The demo account expires after one month.

What is the minimum deposit for a Live account?

The minimum deposit for a Live account is USD 5 (for MINI account type ONLY) To view all account types and their minimum balance please visit Account Types.

Is my money safe? Where are my funds kept?

Fidelis Capital Markets is operated by Fideliscm Cyprus LTD FKA SN Financials Ltd and is regulated by CySEC Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (no. 208/13). Client accounts are held in segregated bank accounts. These accounts can only be touched by the clients themselves. Fidelis Capital Markets is a Member of the ICF ( Investor Compensation Fund), which protects clients funds in case of company insolvency.

What are your trading hours?

The regular trading hours for FX are 24hours a day from Monday 00:05 to Friday 23:55. Please note that Metals, Gold and Silver(Symbols: XAU and XAG), as trading instruments have different trading hours. Weekdays trading sessions are from 1:00 to 24:00 Server time. Trading opens on Monday at 01:05 and on Friday closes at 24:00.

Do you offer fixed spreads?

No, our spreads are variable

Do you allow news trading?

Yes, we do allow news trading.

Do you allow hedging?

Yes, we do allow hedging.

Do you allow scalping?

Yes, we do allow scalping.

What leverage do you offer?

We offer 1:50 – 1:400 leverage

Do you close my open positions and orders if I go offline?

No, we do not interfere with your trading activity. Your positions will not be lost if you go offline as trading continues uninterrupted on the Fidelis Capital Markets trading server.

What are swaps?

It is the cost of carrying over a trading position from the current day to the next one. An overnight interbank rate is usually used for calculating the cost.

What are rollover rates? Why are they tripled on Wednesdays?

When placing a trade in the spot forex market, the actual value date is two days forward, for instance, a deal done on Thursday is for the value of Monday, a deal done on Friday is for the value of Tuesday, and so on. On Wednesday, the rollover amount is tripled to compensate for the following weekend (during which time rollover is not charged because trading is stopped at weekends).

Do you provide live forex tutorials?

fidelis Capital Markets does not provide live forex tutorials at present but it is very much a future plan.

Do you accept US clients?

Fidelis Capital Markets does not accept US Clients.

Do you offer VPS service?

Yes, Fidelis Capital Markets provides a VPS service.
